Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding electronic contract between you and Ms. Sadhana Ojha, sole proprietor trading as Ivanaa's Beautify ("we", "us", "the Maison"), having its principal place of business at 34 Sheshadri Colony, Kila Medan, Mari Mata Square, Indore, Madhya Pradesh – 452006, India (GSTIN 23AAGPO8569E1ZH).
By accessing or using www.themaisonworld.com, our mobile applications, or any service offered under the brands Maison Nox (fragrances), Maison Velours (cosmetics), Maison Beauty Suite (salon services), La Maison Privée (members), or Maia (AI consultant), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, Returns Policy, and Shipping Policy.
These Terms are published in accordance with Rule 3(1)(a) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services.

Electronic Records & Consent
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, and does not require any physical or digital signature. By clicking "I accept", placing an order, completing OTP verification, or otherwise interacting with our services, you provide your consent to the formation of a contract by electronic means under Section 10A of the said Act.

Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to register an account or place an order. If you are accessing our services on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Account access is via phone-OTP and, in some cases, email-OTP. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your verification codes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
• provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information;
• are used to abuse, threaten, or harass any person;
• are used to circumvent fraud, payment, or fair-use controls;
• violate any applicable law or these Terms.

Products, Pricing & Availability
Sellers. Products under Maison Nox and Maison Velours are sold by Ivanaa's Beautify. Salon services under Maison Beauty Suite are facilitated by us as a platform; the service itself is rendered by the listed partner artist or salon, who is the service provider for Consumer Protection Act purposes. The seller / service-provider name is shown on every product, booking, and invoice.
Currency & taxes. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. We will issue a tax invoice compliant with Section 31 of the CGST Act, 2017 for every taxable supply.
Errors. We make every reasonable effort to ensure pricing and product information are accurate. In the event of an evident pricing or description error, we reserve the right, before despatch, to cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
Stock. Listings are subject to stock and editorial curation. We may limit quantities per order or per customer.

Orders & Payments
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. The order is accepted only when we send a confirmation email or message; until then we may decline the order in full or in part.
Payment instruments. Credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets are processed through Razorpay, an RBI-licensed payment aggregator. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials at any stage.
Cancellation by you. Product orders can be cancelled at no cost up to 2 hours after placement, provided the order has not entered the despatch process. Salon-booking cancellation rules are set out below.
Cancellation by us. We may decline or cancel an order due to stock unavailability, suspected fraud, payment failure, delivery-area restrictions, or pricing errors. In such cases the full amount paid is refunded to the original payment instrument.

Salon Bookings — Maison Beauty Suite
Deposit. A booking deposit of 30% of the service value is collected at the time of booking; refundability is governed by the cancellation rules below. The balance is payable to the salon at the time of service.
Cancellation. A cancellation made 24 or more hours before the appointment qualifies for a full refund of the deposit. A cancellation within 24 hours results in forfeiture of the deposit.
Rescheduling. You may reschedule once at no additional cost up to 12 hours before the appointment, subject to availability.
No-show. If you do not arrive for your appointment without prior cancellation, the deposit is forfeited and we may restrict future bookings.
Service quality. If you are dissatisfied with a salon service, raise a complaint through your booking page within 48 hours. We facilitate complimentary redo, store credit, or partial refund per our four-tier resolution policy.

AI Services — Maia & Analyses
Maia, the Skin Analysis, the Hair Analysis, the Fragrance Quiz, and the Virtual Try-On are AI-assisted features provided for informational and editorial purposes only. They do not constitute medical, dermatological, trichological, or professional advice. They are not a diagnosis.
For any skin condition, allergy, or health concern, please consult a qualified medical practitioner. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
Photographs you submit to AI Skin / Hair Analysis are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.

Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Detailed terms appear on the Shipping Policy (/shipping), the Returns Policy (/returns-policy), and the Refund Policy (/refund-policy). The summary below is for convenience and is subject to those policies.
Shipping. All-India delivery, free above ₹2,000, standard 5–7 business days. Tracking is shared by SMS and email after despatch.
Returns. Sealed and unused fragrances and cosmetics may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Opened or used products are not returnable for hygiene reasons. Damaged or wrong items are eligible for free replacement.
Refunds. Approved refunds are initiated within 2 business days of approval; bank settlement typically completes in 5–7 business days to the original payment method (UPI and wallet refunds usually settle faster).
Salon services rendered. Completed salon services are not refundable; service-quality complaints are resolved per the Beauty Suite policy above.

User Conduct
When using our services you agree not to:
• post, transmit, or upload any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes another person's rights;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• interfere with or disrupt the platform, our networks, or other users;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the platform other than as expressly permitted;
• use the platform to transmit malware, viruses, or unsolicited promotional content;
• violate any applicable law, including the IT Rules, 2021.
We may remove user content and suspend accounts in violation of these Terms without notice.

Intellectual Property
All content on www.themaisonworld.com — the Maison brand, the names Maison Nox, Maison Velours, Maison Beauty Suite, La Maison Privée, and Maia, the Maison logos and monograms, the editorial copy, photography, illustrations, product descriptions, the AI prompts and systems, and the website design — is owned by or licensed to Ivanaa's Beautify and is protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and trade-dress laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. Limited fair-use citation is permitted for journalism and personal commentary.

Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third-party services (Razorpay for payments; Vercel and Upstash for hosting; Google LLC via Gmail SMTP, Resend, and Interakt for messaging; Groq, Google, and Anthropic for AI through Vercel AI Gateway; Sentry for monitoring; courier partners for delivery). Use of these features is also subject to those providers' terms.
Our Privacy Policy (/privacy) lists the role each provider plays.

Disclaimers
The Maison provides its services on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — relating to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, and uninterrupted availability of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be limited or excluded by contract.

Limitation of Liability
Subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or any product or service purchased through them shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim, in the 6 months preceding the event.
We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, including loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ivanaa's Beautify, its proprietor, employees, officers, and partners, from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right.

Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, labour disturbance, internet or telecommunication failure, or supply-chain disruption.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law that grants the consumer the right to sue at the place of residence, the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
Before commencing legal proceedings, the parties shall make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute through our grievance-redressal mechanism (see /grievance) and, where appropriate, through mediation.

Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes that adversely affect your rights will be notified to registered users by email at least 15 days before they take effect.
Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
